Description
Sunlight : Selloum plant grows best in indirect sunlight/semi shade. Also grows in shade conditions. Too much bright light causes the leaves to become pale and look bleached. And if the light is too little then the stems elongate as the plant stretches towards the light.
Watering : Normal watering, once daily. Let the top soil dry between waterings. Droopy leaves mean that the plant is receiving too much or too little water. Once the water schedule is corrected plants become normal. Water quantity also depends on the planter size.
Soil : Well drained potting mix is required as stagnant water will cause the rotting of the roots.
Best Suited Pot : 5 inch to 10 inch pot is best suited. Terracotta, Terracotta black, Jaipur Blue Pottery, Metal and Ceramic will enhance the beauty of the plant.
Fertilizers : Fertilize once a month in spring and summer and do not fertilize in winter. Organic manure or fertilizer will add to the lustre of leaves.
