ALTERNANTHERA PLANT
Sunlight : Alternanthera grows in full sun or semi shade conditions where there is bright indirect sunlight. The colours are more intense in full sunlight. Best location would be outdoor or indoor, near east window where there is bright indirect sunlight.
Watering : Normal watering, once daily. Don’t let the soil dry out.
Soil : Requires well drained soil.
Best Suited Pot : 4 inch to 10 inch pot is best suited. Terracotta, black pottery, Ceramic, Jaipur blue pottery and metal will enhance the beauty of the plant.
Fertilizers : Requires little or no fertiliser, but if they aren’t growing well give them a shovelful of compost in summer. Amount of pinching done to the plant care routine determines the habit to plant growth.
BELL PLANTER
Nature of the Planter: Bell Planter is made of ceramic material.This planter is in the shape of a bell, hence the name. The best location for this planter is outdoors and indoors. This planter is available in three different sizes including small, medium, large and in various colours.
Planter Care: This planter is made out of ceramic. A range of glazing and firing techniques are used to create different effects in the final product. The glazing seals the pottery and makes it water-proof, in addition to giving a glassy texture.
These planters are made of Ceramic and so if they are dropped they will break. So please try not to drop them. These planters are attractive and long lasting.
Water Capacity: Depending upon the plant Large planter can take more than one ltr of water, medium size can take 250ml and small size can take 200ml of water..
Best suited Tray: 4 inch ceramic tray for large and medium planters and 3 inch ceramic tray for small planter.
Potting Mix: The large planter would require 1.5 kg of potting mix, medium planter would require 1 kg of potting mix and small planter requires 500 gm of potting mix. Depending on the type of plant, the potting mix ratios and ingredients would vary accordingly. The mix mentioned here is standard mix consisting of red soil, manure, neem cake, vermi compost and perlite. And almost 80% of plants do well with the standard potting mix.
