Sunlight : Figs grows well in direct sunlight, they love sunlight.

Watering : Requires regular watering, once on alternate days (or when the soil dries to an inch below the surface). Water quantity also depends on planter size.

Soil : Requires well drained standard potting mix, make sure there is a hole in the planter for the water to drain.

Best Suited Planter : Figs grows well on the ground but adept nicely to grow in containers. Large 2 to 3 feet planters may also be used. Terracotta and cement planters enhance the beauty of the plant.

Fertilizers : Fertilize once every two to three months by addition of granular manure to the existing soil for the better growth and life of plant. Protect developing fruit from pests by placing a paper bag over them until they are ripe.

TULIP PLANTER

Nature of the Planter: Tulip planter is made of Terracotta material. It is a round planter with a thick rim giving a typical shape hence the name.  The best location for this planter could be either indoors or outdoors.

Planter Care: This Planter is Red in colour. Due to the porous nature of the planter, once we start using it, natural salts from the soil and water poured frequently may leach into the outside of the planter and as a result, the colour might fade over time.

These planters are made out of clay and so if they are dropped from a height they might break, so try not to drop them. Due to their sturdy nature they are long lasting planters.

Water Capacity: This planter can take the water upto 1 ltr depending upon the plant.

Best suited Tray: 7 inch Terracotta tray is best suited for this.

Potting Mix: This planter would require 6 kg of potting mix. Depending on the type of the plant, the potting mix ratios and ingredients would vary accordingly. The mix mentioned here is standard mix consisting of red soil, manure, neem cake, vermi compost and perlite. And almost 80% of plants do well with the standard potting mix.
