Description
Sunlight: Money plant gold grows well under indirect sunlight, shade and semi-shade conditions. It is mainly grown indoors under bright indirect sunlight — they do well in bright indirect light as well as low light. For this houseplant there is no one best location, it can be grown anywhere inside or outside the home or office.
Watering: Normal watering, once daily. They can survive just in water vases without soil as well for years. But cuttings started in one growing medium have hard time switching to other. The quantity of water depends on the size of the planter.
Soil: They can be grown in dry soil or in vases of water. They will thrive in nutrient rich soil, but do almost as well in nutrient poor soil, any soil is good.
Best suited planters: 3 inch – 10 inch pot would be best suited for the plant. Terracotta, Black Terracotta pottery, Metal pottery, Jaipur blue pottery and Ceramic will enhance the beauty of the plant. As Money plant golden is a climber/creeper it will also look good in hanging and wall planters.
Fertilizers: Fertilize once every 3 months for quick growth. Even without fertilizers the plant growth would be good enough. They are generally free from pests and diseases.
