Sansevieria dwarf also known as snake plant dwarf belongs to Liliaceae family. This plant is the most tolerant house plant. It is very easy to grow due to its hardy nature. As per NASA research these plants are known for their indoor pollution control. Snake plants help in keeping the air inside your home clean by removing toxins such as formaldehyde and benzene. These are the best indoor plants as they release more oxygen as well. Also this is one of the few plants which survives Air conditioning.
Sunlight : Sansevieria dwarf grows well in bright indirect sunlight, semi shade or in shade conditions. This is the best indoor plant.
Watering : Normal watering, once daily. These plants can tolerate less water as well, in fact let the soil dry between waterings. During winter water the plants twice a week. Over watering should be avoided.
Soil : Prefer well drained soil as potting mix. Sandy soil is good for them too.
Best Suited Planter : 5 inch to 8 inch planter is best suited. Terracotta, Terracotta Black, Jaipur blue pottery, Metal and Ceramic will enhance the beauty of the plant.
Fertilizers: These plants can do well without fertilisers as well. Mild fertiliser once every 4 months is also fine.
