Sunlight : Song of India, grows well in bright diffused light, semi shade and shade. The low light tolerant nature of the plant makes it one of the best indoor plants.
Watering : Normal watering, once daily. Water quantity also depends upon size of the planter.
Soil : Prefers well draining soil mixture with rich organic matter.
Best Suited Planter : 4 inch to 12 inch planter is best suited. Terracotta, Black Terracotta pottery, Jaipur blue pottery, Metal, and Ceramic will enhance the beauty of the plant.
Fertilizers : Fertilize only once a year. With proper care the plant should last for several years.
CLASSIC CERAMIC PLANTER
Nature of the Planter: Classic Ceramic is made of ceramic material.This planter is in the shape of a regular planter, hence the name. The best location for this planter is outdoors and indoors. This planter is available in various colours and is available in small, medium, large and XL sizes.
Planter Care: This planter is made out of ceramic. A range of glazing and firing techniques are used to create different effects in the final product. The glazing seals the pottery and makes it water-proof, in addition to giving a glassy texture.
These planters are made of Ceramic and so if they are dropped they will break. So please try not to drop them. These planters are attractive and long lasting.
Water Capacity: Depending upon the plant, XL and Large planters can take more than one ltr of water, medium size can take 500ml and small size can take 250ml of water.
Best suited Tray: 10 inch ceramic tray for XL planter, 6 inch ceramic tray for Large and medium, and 4 inch ceramic tray for small planter.
Potting Mix: The X large planter would require 5 kg of potting mix, large planter requires 3 kg, medium planter requires 2 kg and small planter requires 1 kg of potting mix. Depending on the type of plant, the potting mix ratios and ingredients would vary accordingly. The mix mentioned here is standard mix consisting of red soil, manure, neem cake, vermi compost and perlite. And almost 80% of plants do well with the standard potting mix.
